I created Shanti & Flow as a space to come back to peace because I know what it feels like to live without it.

My journey with yoga started in college, going to student Sunday classes, where I was first invited to slow down and just be. It became a space I returned to again and again, especially as life began to change. Over time, yoga stayed with me, moving with me from being a student into becoming a mother. It wasn’t something I left behind, but something that grew with me. That consistency became an anchor through different seasons of life.

In seasons where my mind felt loud, navigating postpartum anxiety/depression and OCD, yoga and breath gave me a way to ground myself and come back to the present. It wasn’t about doing it perfectly, but about having something to return to. That’s the place Shanti & Flow was created from.

As I stepped into motherhood, that intention naturally grew and became something I wanted to share. I began to see the impact of these practices in my own daughter, especially in the way she moved through her emotions. She would pause, breathe, and even gently remind me to take a deep breath when she noticed I was tense. It showed me how powerful these tools are when they’re introduced early. That’s why I created Shanti Kids, a space for children to move, play, and begin to understand their bodies and emotions in a way that feels natural and supportive.

At the heart of it all is community, creating a space where women and families can show up as they are and feel supported. My classes are designed for real life, whether you’re a mom, a beginner, or simply someone who needs a moment to slow down. Through intentional movement, breathwork, and connection, my goal is to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and find your way back to peace again and again

Outside of my yoga practice, you’ll find me with my husband and our daughter, Viv, our horse Shanti, our dogs Dagwood and Gnarly, our cat Mosey, and our foster kitty Floyd. I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, hiking, and spending time with the people I love.
